Far Cry New Dawn
The end of the world is where the fun begins.
Dive into a transformed vibrant post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana, 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. Lead the fight against the Highwaymen, as they seek to take over the last remaining resources. (2019, Ubisoft Montreal)

For Far Cry New Dawn, it was my first game as a director. I’m credited as Associate Narrative Director, but there was no full director above me, functionally I was the ND for this game. Ubisoft got real funny with the titles for whatever reason.
In terms of responsibilities, this game is the culmination of everything I’ve done in games writing so far.
I built and lead a world class narrative team, while working closely with the creative director and the rest of the core team to deliver a fun gaming experience. I helped to define the themes that support the game’s creative vision and develop the characters and key narrative elements from conception and bluepriting, through production, writing, mocap, voice recording, and through post launch activities like going on press tours.
Maybe this game didn’t set the world on fire, but I remain very grateful for the experience and very proud of the work we did together.
